What We Offer
Our watercolor classes are designed for our youngest artists, ages 4–6, where creativity begins to bloom. In this playful and nurturing environment, children explore the magic of watercolor through color mixing, brush strokes, and soft washes. Students experiment with different shades and techniques while building confidence, imagination, and early artistic skills. Each class is designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and make art a joyful experience for our little artists.
-
When using watercolor, the right side of the brain is used for emotional and creative responses, while the left side of the brain focuses on analytical processes and logic. This process benefits children by using both sides of their brain
-
When working with watercolors, your child will need to hold the brush by themselves, which helps them develop coordination and hand-eye coordination. In addition, they'll be able to control how much paint they want on the brush, which will teach them how to be independent and use their creativity.
-
Children begin to talk about art while painting, which not only teaches them nouns and verbs, but also helps them learn to describe colors, materials and textures.
Little Hands, Big Ideas
For ages 4–6, this class blends artistic exploration with cognitive development through watercolor techniques and creative discovery.
