Mindful Art!

Many have heard about the benefits of practicing mindfulness and meditation. It relaxes the mind and prepares you for the day ahead. It promotes emotional health, enhances self awareness, and generates kindness. Blending these two practices together with art can truly bring profound healing to an artist. It allows both concentration and creativity to flow through them with inspiration.


Here at Priscilla & Tiffany's we have introduced the practice of mindful art into the studio. Our young artists settle down in a circle after their 15 minute sketching and meditate for a few minutes to the sounds of nature and calming music. This allows them to center themselves and become aware of the stresses they encounter during the day and release them before beginning to paint. When their minds are at peace and their creativity is heightened, the soul is truly at ease and amazing art can be made!
